Traditional B&B run by Pat and Jim MacGregor in beautiful seaside town of Nairn

Argathnie is an authentic Scottish stone house with high ceilings and traditional decoration giving character and atmosphere.  We offer comfortable bed and breakfast and also self-catering accommodation at cottarhouse.co.uk a short distance from the centre of Nairn.

Situated in a large enclosed garden with off-road parking for all B&B guests, there are three bedrooms available to let – one twin en-suite (beds can be linked together with advance notice) and two double rooms all on ground floor level.

All rooms are non-smoking and have free wifi, flat screen television, tea and coffee making facilities and homemade biscuits.

Start your day the Highland way

A traditional breakfast is on the menu daily, using the finest of ingredients supplied by the local butcher, plus our own homemade jams.

The popular North Coast 500 route starts and finishes only 17 miles from Nairn.

Visit some historical landmarks and castles only a short drive away – Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Cawdor Castle, Brodie Castle and Loch Ness Monster Hunting.

Nairn is an ideal seaside town as a central base for travelling and Argathnie B&B is located a short walking distance to Nairn’s well-known beaches, river walks and golf courses.  Ceilidhs (traditional music and dance) in the community centre Nairn are held on Thursday evening during the summer months.

Welcome to our home.
